Dinamo Sassari says goodbye and thanks Federico Pasquini

Dinamo Sassari has announced that, at the end of the current sports season, its relationship with general manager Federico Pasquini will come to an end. The Biancoblu club wishes to extend its sincere thanks to a figure who has left a deep and significant mark on the history of the club.

Who arrived in Sassari in the summer of 2011, coinciding with the advent of Stefano Sardara in the role of president, Federico Pasquini has been a constant reference in Dinamo’s rapid growth and its subsequent consolidation at the top of Italian basketball.

A man of outstanding human and professional qualities, in his 14 years in Sassari he has served the club with passion and dedication in the roles of sports director, general manager and head coach, helping to achieve such historic milestones as the Triplete of 2015, the Coppa Italia of 2014, the Super Cups of 2014 and 2019 and the FIBA Europe Cup in 2019.

With great competence and vision, in his functions as sports director first and general manager later, he played a decisive role in identifying and bringing to Sassari many players who have written memorable pages of biancoblu history, also proving to be a very valuable trait d’union between the team, technical staff and management.

“You know me: I always try to be on the ball – said Pasquini -The day after the Triplete, for example, I was already at the pc looking for new players to bring to Sassari. One morning I woke up and I no longer had the same level of energy. I immediately informed the president and decided to take a’different path. From an emotional point of view it is not easy, but from a professional point of view I don&#8217t feel like fooling anyone. I would like to thank everyone: Stefano Sardara, vice president Gianmario Dettori, all the staff over the years. You have made me feel at home”.
