It will be Mariano Navone the first opponent of Jannik Sinner at the Internazionali d’Italia. The Argentine tennis player, in fact, defeated young Federico Cinà in the opener with a double 6-3, earning the chance to challenge the world number one, who will make his official return to the court after his three-month disqualification for the clostebol case. Speaking at a press conference, the South American spoke bluntly about the challenge with the South Tyrolean.

“It will be a very difficult match. It will be special to play against Sinner on his return day in front of his audience. Jannik is an incredible impressive player. He has already won a lot at his age. I have to prepare my match to try to win” began the Argentine tennis player.

“It&#8217s nice to face the world number one in Rome. He had to deal with a three-month suspension, so he may lack a little bit’ of rhythm. It will also not be easy for him emotionally” added the Partido native of Nueve de Julio.

“I will have to play my best and I know that the whole audience will be cheering for him. Thinking about the points and the ranking, maybe it would have been better to play against someone else, however, sharing the field with the number one represents an incredible experience. I have nothing to lose, because if I lose nothing happens and if I win it will be great” concluded Mariano Navone.
