Alex Marquez admits brother Marc’s superiority

Intervened at the microphones of “Sky Sport“, the centaur of the Gresini team Alex Marquez, after his fifth place in pre-qualifying, bluntly analyzed his performance and his gap from his brother Marc, the authentic ruler of this first day of free practice at Le Mans.
“We saw clearly that Marc is one step ahead of everyone. We are there in the second group with Viñales, Pecco and someone more. Fermin is also close there, so it will be exciting. Today I focused mostly on doing laps, which is why I didn’t test the setup so much in pre-qualifying. Tomorrow we’ll have to figure it out, because I don’t feel great but I don’t feel bad either. We are there in the middle, but with small details I think we can make an important step” began the Spanish centaur.
“I don’t feel the difference between one bike and the other. When Enea was there he always felt the differences, but I think it depends on the rider. Maybe I was used with Honda to always jumping from one bike to another and not having problems in that, but I don’t feel differences. Fortunately, this is a very good team” added the Gresini team rider.
“I didn“t have a negative feeling, I think we just need to work a little bit more on the balance and stability to the bike, which we lack a little bit here’. Jerez was a weekend where the bike was always the same from FP1 to the race, so when you have that luck you focus on making your way and not making mistakes. I have to find my limit and the best setup, because I am not super performing by nature on this circuit” concluded Alex Marquez.
