Today (kickoff at 8:45 p.m.), Milan hosts Bologna. An interesting challenge, considering that they face the two teams that will compete for the Coppa Italia next May 14. The’opportunity to study each other thoroughly before the final in Rome.

ConceiƧao does not seem intent on resorting to a massive turnover. In fact, he will replace only Leao (disqualified) and Fofana (injured). There will be room, then, for Gimenez and Joao Felix, both of whom arrived in January and are not yet able to make the necessary contribution to the Rossoneri cause.

In front of Maignan, the usual defensive trio formed by Pavlovic, Gabbia and Tomori will act. On the outsides, Jimenez and Theo Hernandez while, in the middle of the field, there will be space for Loftus-Cheek (now fully recovered) and Reijnders.

They will be in the middle of the field.

In attack, Joao Felix, called for a strong performance, will take Leao’s place with Pulisic and, indeed Gimenez. The Mexican striker is favored to play in place of Jovic. On the other side, Italiano seems intent on rotating Dallinga and Castro while Odgaard, Holm and Ndoye should not be part of the starting eleven so as to have them fresh for the Italian Cup final. Both coaches know that this is an important game but the one scheduled at the Olimpico on Wednesday night is even more so.
