Milan-Bologna, Sergio Conceiçao doesn’t mince words

As has happened several times in the’last period, Milan have found success in the league after going into a disadvantage: it also happened on Friday night against Bologna, with Sergio Conceiçao making no secret of not liking too much the attitude shown by the Rossoneri until a few minutes before the equalizing goal.

“We didn&#8220t really play a great game – explained the Portuguese coach to the microphones of ‘Sky Sport’ -We played against a very good team but if we are not intelligent on the pitch a first half like today&#8217s comes out. We got a goal because we were high, so I decided to change the set-up on the field. But it was the spirit that I liked in the end”.

The next game is still against Bologna, but it will be played in Rome and may be worth the second trophy of the season for the Rossoneri, the Coppa Italia: “Tomorrow we start preparing it – said Conceiçao -. But we have to understand what did not work today. Gimenez or Jovic? I do not say the lineup first, they are two players with different qualities: there’s time to decide”.

The Rossoneri coach also gave a blunt answer to a question about his future: “There are things to evaluate, winning the Cup on Wednesday would be very important but the fact remains that we are behind in the league. It is certainly not important now to talk about it, Milan is a historical club, it wants to win regardless of who&#8217s on the bench”.
