MotoGP first free practice: Marc Marquez immediately makes a big noise in France

Marc Marquez was the fastest in the first free practice of the French MotoGP Grand Prix: the’eight-time world champion stopped the clock on the time of 1’30”764 with the official Ducati of the Lenovo team. The Spaniard was well ahead of all other riders: the KTM of Brad Binder was more than half a second off, then there’s the Ducati of the Gresini team of Alex Marquez.

At Le Mans fourth place for the’other factory Ducati ridden by Pecco Bagnaia, currently 6 tenths off his teammate. Sixth Fabio Quartararo on Yamaha.

Bagnaia on the eve of the three days in France had sent a message to the whole Ducati environment: “What Gigi said is true, I am the first one who expects more from myself. He did not say anything wrong, on the contrary, and it is definitely a reason to push together with the team. I am doing everything I can to get back to feeling good, the team and the engineers are doing everything they can to give me what I am looking for, it is something that is done together”.
