MotoGp, VR46: Fabio Di Giannantonio admits his difficulty

It’s been a difficult Friday for Fabio Di Giannantonio in Le Mans: after the two timed sessions, the Roman rider of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team did not go beyond eighteenth place and will therefore be forced to face Q1 to try to climb the ranking and start in the best possible position on the grid.
“Today was a complicated day – admitted the 1998-class centaur -, I expected to struggle less and to go stronger. Instead, I have no feeling with the front, I am at the limit and I can’t push as I want, it’s the first time it has happened to me. But we will work on it and figure out what I need to step up tomorrow”.
“We will try to get in line with the others, but mainly we will have to work ourselves, we are competitive and this is the first weekend where we struggle a little bit’. We will have to be lucid and smart on these complicated days” then concluded Di Giannantonio, who arrived in France fresh off a sixth and a fifth place in Jerez.
In his fourth year in MotoGp, Fabio Di Giannantonio rides the Ducati Desmosedici GP-25 for the team founded by Valentino Rossi, while teammate Franco Morbidelli uses the 24 version. His best result of the season is third place in the Texas race, a podium finish he has been missing since the 2023 season finale, when he rode for Team Gresini.
