Kroos extols Acerbi: "Better than a burglar alarm or a German shepherd"

In the podcast ‘Einfach mal Luppen’, directed by his brother Felix, Toni Kroos praised Francesco Acerbi, the undisputed star of the Champions League semifinal with Barcelona: “If I had to choose between an alarm system, a German shepherd and a Acerbi in front of the house, I would choose Acerbi. It is pure mentality”.
“But also Dumfries or Bastoni, they are machines, they turned the game around twice– added the’former Real Madrid midfielder -. Simply chapeau. Even at Barça, great publicity for soccer, because it seemed like everything could change every minute”.
“I don’t want to say that I am an Inter fan – admitted the German -, but maybe the last ten years have really done something to me, so much so that I am a little more against Barça, but in a way I was a little bit excited for Inter, happy when the result was at 3-3″.
“But for the way they play soccer, you really have to give kudos to Hansi, it is simply a spectacle. But who was better? Both teams knew exactly how to hurt the other, and Inter defended terribly, but scored seven goals” concluded Kroos.
The team was the best.
