Olimpia Milano, Ettore Messina is not thinking about Virtus Bologna but … Milan

Interviewed in “la Repubblica – Bologna,” coach Ettore Messina told of his passion for AC Milan: “In 1966, at Christmas, my grandmother gave me a Rossoneri jersey: she put the number ten on it, because she knew about Rivera. That’s how I became passionate and from then on I started to cheer and follow. I used to go to the stadium and even away, I was in Vienna for a European Cup final. I’m sorry when we lose.”
Messina also commented on the fact that the LBA Finals Unipol 2025 will not see Milan and Bologna facing each other: “It doesn’t affect me because I can’t get past Trento”.
“Do coaches always think game by game? In a series necessarily, not beyond the next competition. Maybe in a competition you think about the road of your team, but here if you don’t win there’s no later.
