Ralf Schumacher, harsh criticism against Lando Norris: "He can’t overtake"

Ralf Schumacher, speaking on an episode of the Backstage Boxengasse podcast, criticized Lando Norris: “What is certain is that he is not capable of overtaking, otherwise he would be doing better”.

“He has been around long enough, there is no excuse for that, simply, there are drivers who have a great eye for these things. Max, for example, but also Piastri and Bearman, are good examples of how to prepare an overtaking maneuver.”

“Lando simply lacks this and won’t learn it,” continued the former German driver.

That’s how it is. He tried, but he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and that became a problem. I repeat, he cannot learn it and he will remain like that. This means that it is possible for him [to win the championship] only through domination and if he is in the lead and does not make mistakes”.
