Treviso Basket and Francesco Vitucci say goodbye

Treviso Basket and coach Francesco Vitucci have announced that, at the end of the current sports season, the partnership that began in June 2023 will come to an end.
“The club would like to express its sincere thanks to coach Vitucci for the professionalism, dedication and unwavering commitment demonstrated over the past two seasons. We wish Frank all the best for the future and the continuation of his career” the note reads.
The Unipol Serie A meanwhile closes the 2024-25 regular season by registering an average in the second half of the season of 3,964 spectators per game, which equals the attendance recorded in the first half despite the three games played on a neutral court (2 by Scafati Basket and 1 by Pallacanestro Trieste) that consequently recorded lower figures than the average for the home games of these two clubs.
“The attendance figure for the second half of the season – says Basketball League President Umberto Gandini – is confirmation of how clubs have been able to build an increasingly exciting and competitive product over the years, despite the chronic difficulties determined in some cases by arenas not up to the spectacle offered on the court. The occupancy rate figure in this sense is much more significant and indicates how we would already need more capacious facilities”.
