NBA Playoffs: OKC dominates Game 7, Denver’s run comes to a halt

New York Knicks, Indiana Pacers, Minnesota T’Wolves and Oklahoma City Thunder. These are the four franchises that will play for the NBA title. OKC entered the magnificent four by overcoming, in Game 7, the Denver obstacle. Race dominated by the Thunder who won with a dry 125-93.

After a balanced first quarter, OKC’s defense began to make the difference, along with a Gilgeous-Alexander unstoppable on offense (35 points on the scoreboard). Denver did not have the strength to respond, going down heavily in scoring. Comfortably reaching even +30, the hosts never stopped defending with ardor and attacking effectively. Result: OKC in the conference finals (against Minnesota) and Denver eliminated.
“I was nervous, actually. Knowing what was at stake’was at stake…Knowing that if I didn’t give it my all, it might all end. But I think that nervousness motivated me”, the words of Gilgeous-Alexander reported by ESPN.

The Knicks last won the title more than half a century ago (1973). Wednesday night game 1 between the Thunder and T’Wolves.
