Roma: Jurgen Klopp’s agent denies everything
He seemed to have already signed the’agreement with Roma. There were also rumors of a first list of desired players and, instead, the’arrival of Jurgen Klopp on the Giallorossi bench seems far, indeed very far away.
After reading, practically everywhere, the news of the landing of his client in the capital, Giallorossi side, Marc Kosicke, agent of the former coach of Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund, issued a statement to the Qatari website WinWinAllSports: “I have read the news of Klopp next coach of Roma, there is nothing true,” the words of the 57-year-old German coach’s attorney.
A strong stance that, in fact, is also an abrupt setback in what seemed to be a negotiation destined for the classic white smoke. With his adventure at the helm of the Reds over, Jurgen Klopp has been approached by many clubs, including Real Madrid, and also by non-football sports (Formula 1) but, at the moment, it is still unknown what his fate will be.
At Roma they hope it is a classic denial of circumstance, although the agent’s words leave no room for different interpretations. Roma is looking for the coach to whom to entrust the team next year (Claudio Ranieri has already made it known, several times, that he will step aside). It seemed to be Jurgen Klopp but, now, there is no longer this great confidence that the marriage will work out.
