The Indiana Pacers won Game 1 of the NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals at the end of a breathtaking game against the Knicks in New York. Trailing by 14 points with less than 3 minutes to go before the buzzer, the Pacers came back and took the contest into extra time, eventually winning 138-135.

Indiana’s comeback came thanks to an incredible Aaron Nesmith, a near-perfect sniper with 8/9 from 3. In overtime, however, it was Andrew Nembhard with a basket with 20 seconds left that determined the victory and mocked the New York team, which was not satisfied with Jalen Brunson’s 43 points and Karl-Anthony Towns’ 35.

Instead, Indiana’s top scorer was Haliburton with 31 points. Game 2 of the finals is scheduled for Friday night and Saturday.
