Charles Leclerc denies rumors of a possible farewell to Ferrari

Charles Leclerc spoke to L’Equipe before his Monaco GP win last year: “Hope is not lost on me, because the season is still long. Last year McLaren made an incredible comeback”.
“Red Bull had a strong start, but then McLaren won the Constructors’ title. From the Barcelona GP a new technical directive banning flexible front wings will come into effect, which I hope will help us a little’. I don’t believe in miracles, but I will try to win the title this year. It seems complicated, but I”m not giving up.
“With Hamilton things go really well, we get along very well, we work very well together. He is a talented driver, he has won more than anyone, the best ever in Formula 1. The organizational aspect of Lewis is outstanding, both on and off the track. When you look at drivers from the outside you often focus on how they work on the track, but there is so much more to managing this hectic life. Lewis is a hard worker, it is really interesting to see how he deals with problems, to watch his discussions with engineers”.
Denying rumors of a possible farewell: “I believe in the project, I believe in Vasseur. This is a complicated period and it is easy to doubt oneself at times like this. But if I take a step back and look at everything I don’t think about leaving Ferrari, because I want to win with Ferrari”.
