When does Lorenzo Musetti play at Roland Garros: previous record against Yannick Hanfmann

After his excellent performances so far on clay this season, which earned him a top 10 Atp ranking, Lorenzo Musetti does not want to disappoint even on the French clay of Roland Garros. In the Italian internationals, he surrendered in the semifinals only to Carlos Alcaraz, then the winner of the tournament against Jannik Sinner, but his big feat was beating Zverev at the Foro Italico and the final at the Monte Carlo Masters 1000.
The Italian tennis player in the first round of the Paris Slam will face German Yannick Hanfmann, world number 137 who comes from the qualifiers. His match is scheduled as a third match on the Philippe-Chatrier.
Born 1991 in Karlsruhe, he was world number 45 as a best ranking in 2023. The last two years have been anything but positive for the German, who is recently regaining confidence and awareness of his means.
The two have faced each other twice on the Atp circuit: 1-1 record with the last meeting won by Hanfmann himself at the Madrid Masters 1000 in 2023 with a score of 6-4, 7-6. The first intersection between the two, however, took place in 2020 at the Atp in Cagliari, Musetti got the better of them by beating the German 6-2, 6-4. Both meetings, therefore, were played on clay.
