Luciano Darderi’s Roland Garros came to a quick end. The Italian-Argentinian tennis player was beaten in the first round of the Grand Slam tournament in Paris by the U.S. Sebastian Korda, who won in four sets with the scores of 6-2 4-6 6-3 6-2.

The 23-year-old Italian, number 45 in the world, failed to get comfortable against the number 23 ranked player, who won decisively in the first set. In the second came the reaction of Darderi, who seemed to have found the right measures on his favorite surface, but the Blue then collapsed in the last two partials.

Korda regained the right intensity and quickly disposed of the practice by hitting the break in the first games. In the next round Korda will face compatriot Jenson Brooksby.
