Holger Rune made it through the first round of Roland Garros not without some difficulty. The Danish tennis player, number 10 in the world and in the ATP rankings, beat Roberto Bautista-Agut of Spain, number 49 in the ATP rankings, in a comeback.

6-7 6-4 6-3 6-2 the final score accrued in Rune’s favor after three and a quarter hours of play. After a first set lost in a tie-break, the number 10 seed on the scoreboard evened the set count in the second partial thanks to a surgical break placed in the tenth game.

The Dane had an easier time in the remaining two sets: the third was decided by a break obtained in the second game, while in the fourth Rune ran rampant, winning the last four games of the match.

Rune is at the bottom of the scoreboard in the segment in which Lorenzo Musetti is also included: the two could meet in the round of 16 in a match that promises sparks.
