Simone Inzaghi postpones his future and for now thinks only of the final

Simone Inzaghi was the first to speak during Inter’s Media Day ahead of the Champions League final: “There’s disappointment over the lost Scudetto, it was a hard blow but we look ahead by congratulating Napoli. Now it is time to think about Saturday’s final, a historic goal even though we know that winning or not winning makes all the difference in the world”.
“This group has always put its’soul on the field. We will have to be good at handling the moments of suffering that will be there and turn the episodes on our side”.
Inevitable question about his future: “As every year fortunately these requests come, but as always with the company we will sit at the table at the end of the season. I am fine at Inter, I have a contract and if the conditions are there we will gladly go ahead. It would be crazy to think about anything else in the week of the Champions” final.
“In me there’s still great excitement for the goal of two years ago, but we all know that we have made a very good path but that we lack the last step to crown a dream and enter history. Needless to deny that there’s suffering for losing the Scudetto, but it’s fair to congratulate Napoli for winning a championship played point-to-point. You have to know how to lose and know how to win in the case, unfortunately we lacked a little something in Serie A and it is not fair to talk about anything else. Let’s not talk about the championship because I don’t want to risk belittling the work of another team”.
“The feelings I don“t have yet because our week starts from today, until Friday we were busy on the championship. I hope to have everyone available, I am confident for Pavard and Zielinski, we will try to approach in the best way. We are focused and we know what opponent we will face”.
