Flavio Cobolli and Matteo Arnaldi will compete in an all-Italian derby in the second round of Roland Garros. The Roman tennis player fluently overcame Cilic in the opener (6-2 6-1 6-3), while the Ligurian made an epic comeback with Auger-Aliassime (5-7 2-6 6-3 6-4 6-2).

Organizers of the Paris Slam have released the’order of play for the day on Thursday, May 29. Cobolli-Arnaldi is the third scheduled match on court 6 where it starts at 11 a.m. with Frech-Vondrousova and then it will be Cocciaretto&#8217s turn with Alexandrova.

The match between Cobolli and Alexandrova will be played on court 6.

The precedents between Cobolli and Arnaldi see the San Remo player with an advantage: in fact, Arnaldi won the’only previous one in two sets (6-3 7-6), played on clay at the Umag ATP 250 in 2023.

After his splendid success in Hamburg, Cobolli starts with the favorable odds, but it will be a challenge to be experienced. A place in the round of 16 with Alexander Zverev or Jesper de Jong is up for grabs.
