Lorenzo Musetti’s run at Roland Garros continues smoothly. The Carrara-based tennis player, number 7 in the world and in the seeding, had an easy time with Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan, world number 122, defeated with a final score of 6-4 6-0 6-2 after just over two hours of play.

Musetti started strong and hit the break as early as the third game (2-1), confirmed on serve (3-1). The Italian confirmed it in the seventh game (5-2), before suffering the return of Galan (4-5), who, however, did not complete the comeback (4-6).

The second partial is a solo affair for the seventh seed who, after a mini rain stop, breaks his opponent’s serve to zero twice in a row, before sprinting to a clear 6-0.

With the momentum now in his favor and a dejected Galan, Musetti placed the decisive break in the fifth game of the third set, closed on serve for the final 6-4 that earned him access to the third round of the Paris Slam.
