On the eve of his Roland Garros third-round match against Czech Jiri Ledecka, Jannik Sinner’s coach Simone Vagnozzi, as well as the match, spoke about the future of Darren Cahill, the other coach of the world number 1. Here are his words.
“We haven’t started looking for anyone to replace Cahill yet, because now there are Paris, Wimbledon and tournaments that are more important. If you ask me, I hope Darren stays next year and we can still have continuity.”
“I am trying to convince him, we will see. He and I have found a balance, we have integrated well. There are some departments where maybe I do more and some departments where he does more. But we have integrated well, we hope to convince him!””.
