Inter: Inzaghi-Frattesi clash after Munich debacle

The rumors about Inter’s unsuccessful Monaco final are multiplying. According to reports in Gazzetta dello Sport, after the match Davide Frattesi harshly confronted coach Simone Inzaghi, who decided not to let him on the pitch during the match against PSG.

After the 5-0 loss, the Sassuolo’s former midfielder, who starred in the Champions League with both Bayern Munich and Barcelona, reportedly asked the Piacenza coach for an explanation, and expressed his disappointment at being benched.

The verbal confrontation was short-lived but the rift between the two is now clear: Frattesi will definitely not stay at Inter should Inzaghi be confirmed on the Nerazzurri bench again next season.
