At Univela Campione del Garda the Lombardia Foil Grand Prix 2025

It will be the Univela Campione del Garda Olympic sailing center that will host next weekend the Lombardia Foil Grand Prix 2025, a leg of the Italian Foil Championship under the auspices of the Italian Sailing Federation.

The Peler and the Ora of Campione del Garda will be the protagonists along with the best sailors in the category.

An event that will once again see the Contribution of the Lombardy Region, which proves that it always stands by the excellence of Lombardy that brings great champions and championships to its “race fields”.

It will be an exciting and adrenaline-pumping weekend, with the best Foil sailors competing for victories on this stage. Kite foil and Wingfoil the two classes involved.

The main difference between kitefoil and wingfoil lies in the method of propulsion. The kitefoil uses a kite attached to a bar to generate power, while the wingfoil uses an inflatable wing held by hand by the rider. The wingfoil is simpler and requires less wind to start gliding
