Giordano Bortolani ignites the market: four A clubs on him

The Italian basketball season is not over yet but the clubs that have already ended it are working to strengthen their respective rosters in view of the 2025-2026 season: in this sense there’s a name disputed by at least four clubs, that of Giordano Bortolani, a guard who grew up in Olimpia Milano and returned to the base from the 2023-2024 season, after a series of loans.
Trento and Treviso have already reportedly inquired about him, both looking for a player capable of making a further leap in quality at the backcourt level. As reported, however, by ‘La Prealpina’ and ‘La Gazzetta di Reggio’, however, Varese and Pallacanestro Reggiana have also expressed interest in a player who will be released next June 30 on a zero-parameter basis.
The classy basketball player is expected to be a top player in the league.
The class of 2000 basketball player, before making his return to Olimpia’s first team in the last two seasons, played on loan, between 2017 and 2023, in Bernareggio, Legnano, Biella, Brescia, Treviso and Verona, with a parenthesis in Spain, at Manresa, to intersperse his two experiences in Veneto.
Bortolani also boasts a fair amount of experience in the national team, where he played 20 games between 2020 and February 2025: his best performance in the Azzurri in terms of points was on February 20, 2025, when he scored 16 in the success over Turkey on the penultimate day of the Eurobasket 2025 qualifiers.
