L'Inter awaits Inzaghi’s decision: alternatives identified

The disappointment over the heavy defeat to PSG in the Champions League final is still great. Inzaghi is reflecting on what happened and what to do with his future. Inter is waiting confidently. A summit between the coach and President Marotta is expected in the coming hours to figure out if and how to continue together.

Inzaghi has on his plate a very rich proposal from the’Al-Hilal. The Arab club is ready to shower him with money (there is talk of a proposal amounting to 25 million euros per season). A lot, a lot, but there is a question of whether the coach prefers to test himself again in Milan, Nerazzurri side, trying to rebuild a new Inter.

L’Inter hopes he will stay but would already be considering possible alternatives should Inzaghi decide to end the relationship. In particular, there would be three names in play from which to choose the new Nerazzurri coach.

Would love Fabregas who did so well at the helm of Como. C’is always the’De Zerbi option, a coach who is waiting for the big chance to put himself on the line in a top team. Finally, not to be discarded is the Chivu card, a young technician who knows the Inter environment perfectly well. The priority, however, remains to convince Inzaghi to stay.
