Roland Garros: Mirra Andreeva and Coco Gauff fly to quarterfinals

Mirra Andreeva and Coco Gauff ahead all at Roland Garros. The Russian and U.S. tennis players lived up to predictions that they were favored and overcame Ekaterina Aleksandrova and Dar’ja Kasatkina, respectively, to qualify among the top eight players at the Paris Slam.
Andreeva overcame Kasatkina by the scores of 6-3, 7-5, in an hour and a half match: in the quarterfinals she will face the winner of the match between Boisson and Pegula.
Coco Gauff, on the other hand, disposed of the match in less than an hour, dismissing Alexandrova 6-0, 7-5. It will be an American derby for her in the quarterfinals: she will face the winner of the match between Madison Keys and Baptiste.
