MotoGp, VR46: Fabio Di Giannantonio ready to turn the season around

Reduced from a series of bittersweet weekends, Fabio Di Giannantonio raises the bar and aims to improve his results as early as the Grand Prix d’Aragon, with the Sprint scheduled for Saturday, June 7, and the long race scheduled for Sunday, June 8. The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider is currently sixth in the MotoGp World Championship, 10 points behind teammate Franco Morbidelli.
“MotorLand Aragon is a circuit I like, it is a very technical track – said Di Giannantonio, who in 2024 finished eighth in Sunday’s race -. Last year we struggled a bit, but this year, with more data and the basic set-up we found in the last few races, we can tackle it better and with even more potential”.
“I want to bring to Aragon the attitude of Silverstone, which was what allowed us to work focused to make important steps forward and have a great weekend. Hopefully the weather will be more stable than in the last two races” he then explained the Roman centaur, who in Britain took a third place in the Sprint, before a ninth place in the long race.
This season there have been two Top 3 finishes for Fabio Di Giannantonio: in addition to the British Sprint Race, the 1998-born rider also finished on the podium in the Sunday race in Texas, finishing third there as well. In 2025 Di Giannantonio also almost always finished in the points: the’only time he failed to do so was in the inaugural Sprint Race in Thailand, where he retired with two laps to go.
