It’s raining wet in the home of the Azzurri. A few hours before the delicate challenge, in Oslo, with the Norway of Erling Haaland, Luciano Spalletti loses another star player. Moise Kean has raised the white flag.

The striker suffered a physical problem during Wednesday&#8217s training session and left the national team&#8217s training camp today morning. The muscle soreness in his right thigh would not allow him to take the field.

An’other heavy tile for an Italy that is increasingly in emergency. As known, Riccardo Calafiori and Alessandro Buongiorno are unavailable, as is Manuel Locatelli (he has left the training camp). Also Francesco Acerbi has stepped aside. Now the forfeit of Moise Kean.

Not the best way to face the first, tricky match valid for the qualification for the next World Cup.It will be up to coach Luciano Spalletti to find a way not to make these absences weigh on the group. Returning from the trip to the Nordic land with a positive result is extremely important for Italy. As FIGC president Gabrile Gravina explained “… We must not look for alibis at this moment, we have a goal on which we are focused, qualification for the World Cup is fundamental. We are aware of the difficulties, not only because of a few too many injuries, but also because of the fatigues that national and international championships have determined in the heads of our athletes”.
