Simone Inzaghi explains yes to'Al-Hilal: tradition and millions of fans

The’Inter Milan experience is now behind him. Simone Inzaghi is ready to put himself on the line in the Saudi Pro League. After four years at the helm of the Nerazzurri, he has decided to accept the (rich) proposal of the’Al-Hilal. For him an annual check of as much as 26 million euros net per season. A monster salary that has made him the’highest paid coach in the world.

Officialized by the Saudi club with an emotional video, Simone Inzaghi released his first words as the new coach of Al-Hilal, explaining the reasons that led him to leave Inter Milan to start a new adventure in Saudi Arabia.

“I am very happy to undertake this experience, my desire has always been to coach abroad as well as in Italy. Al Hilal is a great opportunity for my career. I have studied the history of the club, seen the millions of fans all over the world, including the last Champions League game in Jeddah. There were a lot of fans there. I can&#8217t wait to start” his words.

Great anticipation to see him at’work on the Al-Hilal bench. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, one of the Saudi team&#8217s stars and Simone Inzaghi&#8217s former player (at Lazio), has welcomed him with great enthusiasm. Simone Inzaghi’s first official game in charge of Al-Hilal will be at the Club World Cup against Real Madrid (first day of the group stage, June 18).
