Carlos Alcaraz vs. Jannik Sinner: the balance of the Big Titles.

With a comeback victory in an epic final at Roland Garros, Carlos Alcaraz has stretched ahead of Jannik Sinner in the race for ‘Big Titles’ which include Grand Slam titles, Masters 1000s, ATP Finals and Olympic singles gold medals.
After his triumph in Paris, the Murcian climbed to 5 Grand Slam titles (Roland Garros (2), Wimbledon (2), Us Open), two more than the South Tyrolean, who is stuck at 3 (Australian Open (2) and Us Open).
In total, Alcaraz holds 12 Big Titles, while Sinner has won eight. The world number two has won 7 Masters 1000s, including as many as 4 on clay, while the world number one has signed 4 wins in the 1000s all on cement.
In ATP Finals, on the other hand, Sinner has the edge over Alcaraz: the Blue triumphed in Turin in the last edition, while the Spaniard has never won in the season-ending tournament. Finally, as far as the Olympics are concerned, neither Sinner nor Alcaraz has won the medal d’ora, although the latter was defeated by Novak Djokovic in the final in the last edition in Paris 2024.
