NBA Finals: OKC’s ready redemption, series with Indiana on'1-1

Afterlosing the first act of the series, OKC fought back and, in front of its own audience, dominated Game 2 of the NBA Finals, knocking out Indiana with a dry 123-107. Decisive was the second quarter in which the Thunder put up a 33 to 21 lead.
Another important performance by Gilgeous-Alexander. The’MVP put up 34 points, with also eight assists. Holmgren’s contribution was also excellent, finishing with 15 points and six rebounds. Also of note were Jalen Williams’s 19 points.
Carlisle, Indiana coach, had this to say about Gilgeous-Alexander’s excellent performance, which, in fact, decided the game and forced his team to defeat: “He will score. We must find a way to make life as difficult for him as possible” his words, especially in view of the continuation of the final series. The person directly involved, is not particularly exalted by his great performance: “I am just myself. I just try to approach the game the right way. I think I have done a good job so far”.

After deciding Game 1 at the deadline, Haliburton failed to repeat in Game 2. The Pacers’all-star put up 17 points with six assists but without affecting as much as he would have liked. He will be scheduled for Game 3 on the Italian night between Wednesday and Thursday.
