Sara Errani moves away from retirement and is still sad about Jannik Sinner

On the sidelines of the first round of the Italy Major Premier Padel, Sara Errani returned to talk about Roland Garros: “Results like those of the last few weeks, they make me want to continue”.
“If I play like this, it is hard to say ‘I stop,’ then singles and doubles are very different, and the years take their toll when you play alone”.
“I feel good, surprisingly good. After certain wins you usually relax, but I am mentally prepared to play here and I am so happy. Playing it also helps me in tennis, then at home in Spain I often switch between sports so it won’t be a problem for me to make the switch. But anyway I have no expectations here. I want to see the strongest at what level they are.”
Closing on Jannik Sinner: “It is a huge shame, losing with match point is tough, you are there three inches from winning and it turns bad. I am so sorry”.
