Lecce and Marco Giampaolo say goodbye: despite the salvation just achieved, the Salento club and the coach from Abruzzo have announced the divorce with a statement published on the official website of the Giallorossi club.
“U.S. Lecce announces that it has terminated, today, the contractual relationship with coach Marco Giampaolo, to whom should be addressed thanks for the work done with great dedication and the’best wishes for the best professional fortunes”, reads the note.
According to rumors coming out of Lecce, there are two favored coaches for the bench: Davide Nicola, who comes from a good season at Cagliari, and Eusebio Di Francesco, looking for a revival after disappointments at Frosinone and Venezia.
