Boris Becker criticizes him, Alexander Zverev responds piqued

Alexander Zverev, world No. 3, gave a piquant response to criticism from Boris Becker, his fellow countryman and winner of six Slam tournaments and former world No. 1, who had criticized him following his loss to Novak Djokovic in the round of 16 at Roland Garros.
“I have the impression that he plays the same way against everyone, even the best players, and hopes for a positive outcome. His father and brother did a great job, but it wasn’t enough for the last step,” Bum Bum said.
“When things don’t go well for me, suddenly everybody gets very smart. Unfortunately, that includes Boris Becker,” Zverev’s response at a press conference during the Stuttgart tournament.
“I came back from a very serious injury, regained my second place in the ranking, and I still see myself as a strong contender to fight against Sinner and Alcaraz,” Sascha continued.
“Although the last match was not my best, I lost to Novak Djokovic, not to Hanspeter, world number 250,” Zverev concluded.
