Charles Leclerc in Montreal denied rumors of his farewell to Ferrari: “I’m very surprised. I mean, I have no idea where it’s coming from. I would rather just ignore it. I’ve never said anything like that in the last few races, and in fact, I keep saying how much I love the team and how much I want to bring Ferrari back to the top. And so I am surprised.”

“We have a vision that the three of us, Fred, Lewis and I, share to try to get back to winning. That is our plan and I think we should stick to it. We are already putting pressure on ourselves, a lot of it. Then of course there are these rumors, which are something you don’t want to hear. But it is normal to have pressure when you work for Ferrari, second place is never enough and we are all aware of that.”

“External pressure is not affecting us. We want to win and we are focusing all our thoughts on that. We have to forget everything that is said around the team. But over the years I’ve gotten used to it. At the end of the day that’s how it works in Ferrari and it’s always been that way. So you have to deal with it, but I don’t think these rumors can affect us,” Leclerc concluded.
