Federica Brignone spoke again in Gazzetta dello Sport about her rehabilitation, which continues at the J|Medical in Turin: “How is life going? I am not happy, I would be lying. I was hoping to do anything else in the last two months, I wanted to surf somewhere and instead… Now it is up to me to find the positive things, to smile for every little progress. The time spent in here is always so much, I get to the evening and I am wiped out, however, I have so much desire to work even harder to get back on my feet as soon as possible. It means independence”.

“They say I live the good life, yeah. Instead I have my days filled with boring, very slow and controlled stuff that requires my undivided attention. Nevertheless, I have never acted sick, I have tried in every way to always be positive and very active. I tried to be myself as much as possible, and by the way, in every event I attended, there was never a lack of ice machine and magnetotherapy.”

I”The key word of this period is “patience.” I would like to tell the fans that I will definitely be there, but first of all I want to recover for my health and then for skiing. Which is a great motivation. Operating on the ACL would have meant skipping the whole season, but instead I’ll be back in boots as soon as I’m well. Of course the leg will have to bear even greater loads.”

Closing on Sofia Goggia who went to see her: “She&#8217s been nice. But also Elena Curtoni and other colleagues: there are many who have called me and some, like Kajsa Lie, came to see me at home. The love they gave me was very nice, some I expected and some I didn&#8217t, in the end I know the relationships I have in the environment and I think I would do the same with the others”.
