GP Canada, George Russell fastest in second free practice

George Russell was the fastest in the second free practice session of the Canadian Grand Prix at the Montreal circuit. The Briton of the Mercedes turned n 1’12″123 precdendo by 28 thousandths McLaren compatriot Lando Norris.
Third place for Kimi Antonelli in the second Mercede, 288 thousandths off, fourth Alexander Albon in the Williams, fifth Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin, and sixth world leader Oscar Piastri in the other McLaren.
Followed in seventh place by the second Williams, that of Carlos Sainz, eighth Lewis Hamilton with the nica Ferrari on the track since Charles Leclerc did not run because of the accident in the first session. Ninth is world champion Max Verstappen in the Red Bull.
