A statue dedicated to Jannik Sinner: fans in ecstasy
Sesto Pusteria (Bolzano) is where Jannik Sinner’s parents live and work, and it is there that a statue dedicated to the world No. 1 ranking player could be erected. This was confirmed by Mayor Thomas Summerer, who spoke to Rai Radio 1.
“We could celebrate him with a street or a square, let’s see, although I guess we should at least wait until he stops playing. You could also dedicate a statue to him, there are various ways to honor him”. These words were enough to send Jannik’s fans into ecstasy, and they are already planning a pilgrimage to Sesto Pusteria.
“Recently Jannik came back to rest a little bit but this time I was not able to meet him. The’last time we saw each other he was driving around in his mom”s car to take his cat to the vet” added the mayor.
In recent days Jannik Sinner arrived in Halle and found a welcome surprise: the’organization welcomed him with a special cake in the shape of 1 for his 370th day as number one in the rankings.
