Inter, Chivu makes his interism felt: "Great responsibility"

Cristin Chivu feels ready. He’s convinced that he has all the right cards to do well at the helm of Inter, especially because interismo is part of his DNA. The Club World Cup will be the first test to prove he’s the right man at the right time.
“The Inter coach I had already done, even in the youth sector the pride was huge, but in the first team now I feel a big sense of responsibility that I want to transfer to my boys, the same as when Piero Ausilio first brought me to Appiano”, his words in the pre-World Club Championship press conference in Los Angeles.
Great desire to do well at the Club World Cup, which, for Chivu, is a great chance to show he can lead Inter, despite the misgivings of a part of the fans: “It’s a new old project because you have to carry on what has been done so far, the bar has been raised in recent years and you have to continue on this line with confidence and self-confidence to keep it there”.
Chivu’s first match on the Inter bench is scheduled for Wednesday, June 18, at 3:00 a.m. Italian time, against Monterrey, a match valid for the first Group E game. Inter will next face Urawa Reds and River Plate. Chivu wants his Inter team to confirm that it is still one of the best teams around, starting as early as the Club World Cup.
