Antonio Faravelli makes himself loved in Piedmont and Liguria with his wines.

Antonio Faravelli

Antonio Faravelli, a winemaker with a passion for golf and a well-known face of Oltrepò Pavese, was chosen with his wines and the “Golf and Wine 1895” project to represent Lombardy’s food and wine excellence at the Voucher and Travel Tuscany Taste event, which saw him appreciated protagonist at both Golf Colline del Gavi, in Piedmont, and Golf Club Garlenda, in Liguria.

Owner of Cantine Vitea, Faravelli has been a promoter of a precise idea for years: to unite the world of golf with that of signature wine, linking territory, culture and lifestyle in a unique experience. “Golf and Wine 1895” is the name of this project, created to enhance the Oltrepò Pavese wine identity in high quality and experiential tourism contexts.

The Colline del Gavi Golf Course, set in a 110-hectare hilly landscape among small lakes, streams and ancient trees, is one of the Italian references for those seeking to combine sport, nature and hospitality. Officially founded in September 1998 with the inauguration of the last eight championship holes and the birth of the new Sports Association, the club has established itself as an elite destination for lovers of greens and good living.

Faravelli with a selection of its Vitea wines, bringing to the tasting the most authentic expressions of Oltrepò: bottles that tell the story of vineyard work, family history and passion for the land. A perfect combination with the refined atmosphere of the event, designed for taste tourists and lifestyle enthusiasts.

In parallel, the “Golf and Wine 1895” project also stars at Garlenda Golf Club, a pearl of the Ligurian hinterland, set among Mediterranean hills and just a few kilometers from the sea. Garlenda is the symbol of a vacation that blends sport, relaxation and culture: a place where the scents of the maquis, the intense colors of the landscape and historic villages offer a total experience.

Antonio Faravelli once again confirms his vision: to do business by enhancing the value of wine as a cultural ambassador, including it in the most exclusive tourist circuits and creating synergies between territories, stories and passions.
