Milan market: in addition to Modric, three more midfield shots on the way

A.C. Milan is getting a makeover. Igli Tare, the Diavolo’s new sporting director, is working to set up a squad that can meet the demands of new coach Max Allegri. After having ceded Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City, everyone is working on a revolutionized Rossoneri midfield.
With the Luka Modric deal completed (he will sign a contract with AC Milan at the end of the Club World Cup), the spotlight is on Granit Xhaka. The negotiation for the 32-year-old Bayer Leverkusen midfielder seems to be well underway, so much so that the white smoke would be close.
If Granit Xhaka will wear the rossonero, Igli Tare will then try to complete the department with two young hopefuls who can bring freshness and dynamism. Many names are in play, including those of Valencia’s Javi Guerra (class of 2003) and Ardon Jashari, a 22-year-old player from Bruges.
Contemporaneously, Milan is also thinking about selling. Yunus Musah now seems destined to play for Antonio Conte’s Napoli (we are at the details of the transaction) while Lazio seems intent on getting serious about Ruben Loftus-Cheek, a midfielder who, in the last season, did not have much space in the rossonero (due to a few too many injuries) but who would be very much liked by Maurizio Sarri, coach of the biancoceleste club.
