ATP Halle, Bolelli/Vavassori again in final: crashed Auger-Aliassime/Shapovalov

Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori are again in the final at the Halle ATP 500. The Azzurri, second seeds in the doubles draw, demolished the Canadian duo of Felix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov with a clean 6-2 6-2 in just over three quarters of an hour.
A rocket start for Bolelli/Vavassori who snatched the serve from their opponents in the opening game and confirmed the break lead (2-0). In the sixth game, the Italians got another break with another straight pass from Bolelli before closing on 6-2.
The music did not change.
The music doesn’t change in the second partial: in the third game the Emilian and the Piedmontese take away the Canadians’s serve and repeat the break lead in the fifth game (4-1) that opens the door wide for them to the final victory (6-2).
Bolelli and Vavassori will return to the court Sunday at 12:30 p.m. to defend the title they won a year ago. The Azzurri are chasing their seventh title together.
