Como has no intention of stopping after the arrival of Stipe Baturina and, on the contrary, raises with a name of absolute depth: Álvaro Morata. The Spanish striker, currently divided between Galatasaray and Milan, has been personally contacted by Cesc Fàbregas, current coach of the Como team and his former teammate in the Chelsea days. The two, bound by a deep friendship and mutual professional respect, have been in touch by phone in recent days. A contact that was anything but casual: Morata listened carefully to the proposal, showing openness toward a possible move to the shores of Lake Como.

The situation, however, remains intricate. Morata is currently on loan at Galatasaray, where he contributed to the Turkish league victory with 6 goals in 12 games (7 in 16 considering cups), although he is not a regular starter due to competition with Osimhen. The loan to the Turkish club is expected to end in January 2026, but the possibility of an early termination is concrete, especially if the Nigerian were to be redeemed. In that case, Como could move to deal directly with AC Milan, the owner of the player’s card, considering a loan or even an outright purchase.

The competition, however, is not lacking. Morata has publicly stated that he dreams of a return to Spain, perhaps to Getafe, while the option of an early return to AC Milan, where he would find Massimiliano Allegri, his former coach at Juventus, also remains on the table.
