Olimpia Milano revolution: many names in play and one certainty

After a decidedly disappointing season, Olimpia Milano is very active in the market to set up a top-notch roster to return to winning ways immediately. In addition to Marko Guduric and Quinn Ellis (formalities are awaited but agreements with both seem to have been positively concluded), the Milanese club is targeting many other world-class names.

Having said goodbye to Nikola Mirotic, here is that the club of owner Giorgio Armani is reportedly trying to sign Devin Booker, the 34-year-old long that did so well with the Bayern Munich jersey. Given the physical condition, all to be understood, of Josh Nebo, Devin Booker’s 205 centimeters would suit coach Ettore Messina.

According to Mundo Deportivo, moreover, Olimpia is reportedly trying to convince Barcelona to deprive itself of Jabari Parker, another star currently with Barcelona. An enormously talented big winger, he could be the right man to make the EA7 even more competitive.

Finally, Olimpia Milano wants Peppe Poeta back on the coaching staff. The idea would be to give him the role of assistant coach for next season with the certainty of granting him the keys to the team starting with the 2026/27 season. One certainty then there is: Ettore Messina is ready to step aside. Next season could indeed be the last for the seasoned white-and-red coach.
