Stefano Pioli leaves the'Al Nassr: Cristiano Ronaldo’s goodbye
Stefano Pioli is no longer the’coach of Al Nassr. Through a post on its official Instagram profile, the Saudi club announced the separation with the Italian coach, who is soon to return to Fiorentina.
“The Al Nassr club announces that Mr. Pioli and his staff are no longer part of the first team–s technical staff, it reads.
We would like to thank Mr. Pioli and his staff for their hard work during last season”.
Following the former Milan coach’s contractual termination with Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to thank Pioli with a social message posted in an Instagram story in which he wrote: “Thank you for everything”.
Pioli ends his Saudi experience with a record of 28 wins, 7 draws and 9 losses in 44 games. In the league, Al Nassr finished third in the standings, while in the Asian Champions League they were eliminated in the semifinals.
