Wimbledon 2025 arrives: special programming from Sky Sports

Sky Sport

Few days to the most prestigious and anticipated event in world tennis: from Monday, June 30 to Sunday, July 13, the 138th edition of the Wimbledon tournament, “The Championships,” will be exclusively on Sky and streamed on NOW. An event that will also remain only on Sky for the four-year period 2027-2030, as well as for the 2025 and 2026 editions.

Very rich coverage in Sky’s House of Sports: more than 750 live hours between matches and analysis and commentary studios, for two weeks of exciting men’s and women’s singles and doubles challenges in the men’s and women’s draw.

Federico Ferri, Sky Sports Director: “Wimbledon sees us committed every year with maximum editorial coverage. It is the appointment of tradition that, however, manages to renew itself every year, as it does for Sky Sport, which has had the privilege of reporting this event for as long as our platform has existed. But in so many years never has there been this expectation and anticipation for the Italian tennis players, Sinner, Paolini and others. This makes our mission even more exciting and compelling, a complete narrative, both on and off the court, with commentators and correspondents in London ready to bring to life the atmosphere of this unique event, the talents who experienced the tournament on the court. With the’addition of Boris Becker, who won it three times. Studies, new graphic and statistical analysis tools, in-depth features and columns will ensure continuous updates, we won&#8217t miss a thing, thanks to the Sky Sports team at Wimbledon and in the newsroom. There will be no shortage of our original productions, with new appointments together with Panatta and Bertolucci and their stories on the tennis champions of all time, and the exclusive “Insider” in-depth feature. From this year, Diretta Wimbledon also returns, where we will follow the best from all the courts, in a sort of Minute-by-Minute All Wimbledon, on the new Sky Sport Mix channel.”

The storytelling of the London tournament will be developed on 11 channels: Sky Sport Tennis, with the entire program from Centre Court; Sky Sport Arena, with a selection of the most interesting matches from the other courts; Sky Sport Uno, which will alternate matches with other major live events; Sky Sport channels 251 to 256, renamed Sky Sport Wimbledon 1-6 for the occasion, and Sky Sport 4K. In addition, with Sky Sport Mix it will be possible to access Diretta Wimbledon, which will take the viewer from court to court to follow all the most important moments of the matches in progress. And thanks to Split Screen – accessible from the green button on the Sky remote control – it will be possible to follow two matches on the same screen at the same time.

The magic of Wimbledon comes to life from the morning, with a first studio at 11:45 a.m. that will introduce the day’s program directly from London.

Sky Sport Tennis will also host Sky Tennis Show, the program hosted by Eleonora Cottarelli that will accompany each day of competition starting at 2 p.m. and will host match highlights from the futuristic Sky studio set up in the spectacular Studio 2 in Milan: technology always at the top thanks to virtual reality and video analysis from Sky Sport Tech, with commentary, interviews and Sky correspondents broadcasting from the terrace overlooking the Wimbledon courts.

And on Sky Sport 24, two editions a day of the news will be reported directly from London, both hosted by Dalila Setti: Tennis is Served, at 1 p.m., and Wimbledon Today, at 6 p.m. In addition, news, match highlights and continuous updates with correspondents, and at the end of the day, the appointment with The Insider – Wimbledon, the in-depth magazine edited by Giuseppe Marzo and hosted by Stefano Meloccaro that will summarize in half an hour the tournament from an original and ironic point of view, with highlights, exclusive interviews and a look at what happens behind the scenes. Interviews, commentary, news, real-time updates and much more also on Sky’s official social channels, via the Sky Sport APP and on the skysport.it website, with complete coverage of the tournament made up of photo galleries, videos, highlights, top shots, the liveblog of the Italians and the most important matches. Plus, dedicated in-depth coverage on Sky Sport Insider, the premium space on the skysport.it website.

The 14 days of matches on Sky Sport will be narrated by the great team of Sky Sport commentators, starting with Boris Becker, tennis legend and three-time winner at Wimbledon, who will be in the studio on the most important days of the tournament. Ivan Ljubicic, former world No. 3 and coach of champions such as Roger Federer, will analyze the strokes and strategies; Paolo Bertolucci, 1976 Davis Cup champion, will commentate on the most important challenges; Flavia Pennetta, 2015 U.S. Open champion and four-time Fed Cup winner with the Italian national team; and Renzo Furlan, former No. 19 in the ATP world rankings and recently coach of Jasmine Paolini. Also on the big talent team are the big names of Stefano Pescosolido, Raffaella Reggi, Laura Golarsa, Salvatore Caruso, Laura Garrone, Gianluca Pozzi, Niccolò Cotto, Marco Crugnola and Andrea Arnaboldi.

Taking turns on the commentary will be Elena Pero, Luca Boschetto, Federico Ferrero, Pietro Nicolodi, Alessandro Lupi, Federico Zancan, Paolo Ciarravano, Dario Massara, Andrea Paventi, Alessandro Sugoni, Paolo Aghemo, Riccardo Bisti, Niccolò Ramella and Gaia Brunelli.

Three correspondents in London: Angelo Mangiante, Stefano Meloccaro and Dalila Setti, ready to catch every detail before, during and after the matches.

The history of tennis from the point of view of Adriano Panatta and Paolo Bertolucci in the Original Production targata Sky Sport. The third episode of Tennis Heroes takes its cue from the iconic rivalry of the 1990s: Pete Sampras versus Andre Agassi. A strong contrast of styles, personalities, attitude on and off the court. Cues for the usual technical/philosophical digressions of the duo Panatta & Bertolucci, who ironically analyze one of the most important dualisms in modern tennis. Appointment from Friday, June 27, at 6:30 pm and 10:30 pm on Sky Sport Uno; at 8 pm on Sky Sport Tennis and streaming on NOW. Available on demand.
