F1, Austrian GP: Norris in pole position ahead of Leclerc

Lando Norris takes pole position in qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix. On the Spielberg track, the McLaren driver turns in 1’03″971, trimming half a second off Charles Leclerc, on the front row with Ferrari.

In third place is the other McLaren of Oscar Piastri, followed by Lewis Hamilton&#8217s other Rossa, for a second row marked again by McLaren-Ferrari. Rounding out the top 5 is George Russell, at the wheel of the Mercedes.

Max Verstappen (Red Bull) only seventh, beaten by Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls), sixth. Closing out the top 10 are Gabriel Bortoleto (Kick Sauber), Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) and Pierre Gasly (Alpine).
