When does Jasmine Paolini play at Wimbledon: background with Anastasija Sevastova

After losing in the semifinals to Iga Swiatek at the WTA 500 in Bad Homburg, Jasmine Paolini is ready to return to the court at Wimbledon, where she will defend the final she won in the last edition of the Championships, when she surrendered to Krejcikova.

The world number four will make her debut on Monday, June 30, with Anastasija Sevastova, currently ranked #402 in the WTA rankings. The match between l’Azzurra and the Latvian is the third scheduled match on court 2 where it starts at 12 p.m. Italian time (11 a.m. local time) with Medvedev-Bonzi.

Two previous matches between Paolini and Sevastova and both in favor of the Tuscan tennis player: in 2020, in the first round of the Internazionali d’Italia, the Azzurra won two sets, in 2021, at the Cincinnati WTA 1000 qualifiers, Paolini took advantage of Sevastova’s withdrawal on the score of 6-2 2-1 in her favor.

Paolini will also be engaged in the doubles tournament, paired with Sara Errani: the Azzurre, third seeds, will take on the duo formed by Spain’s Cristina Bucsa and Japan’s Miyu Kato.
