The Austrian Grand Prix, the 11th round of the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship, ended with Lando Norris’ victory with McLaren. On the Red Bull Ring track in Spielberg, the British driver signed a perfect performance, taking his third win of the season, the seventh in his career, and dragging McLaren to an extraordinary one-two with teammate Oscar Piastri.

The McLaren domination was clear throughout the race. The two papaya drivers monopolized the top positions from the early laps, even engaging in a heated duel between them for the final victory, while still maintaining great respect and fairness on the track. Norris prevailed thanks to a steady pace and impeccable race management, thus completing a virtually perfect weekend, being the fastest in all the sessions he participated in.

Ferrari can smile, however, thanks to the podium finish achieved by Charles Leclerc, who showed flashes of great speed, especially in the middle part of the race. The Monegasque preceded teammate Lewis Hamilton. George Russell in the Mercedes fifth. Also excellent was eighth place for Gabriel Bortoleto, who brings home his first points in Formula 1 with Sauber.

Race to forget instead for Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Max Verstappen, protagonists of a resounding accident on the first lap that put both out of action. Problems also for Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon, both forced to retire their Williams. The World Championship now moves to Silverstone, where the British Grand Prix

will be held from July 4 to 6.
